Our Story

In the heart of a vibrant Indian village, where the aroma of jasmine lingers in the air and birdsong creates a symphony of its own, our story began. We are Uma and Balajee, a couple united not only by love but by our shared passion for fashion, textiles, and design.

Our journey has been a tapestry of dedication, resilience, and dreams. As we studied at a prestigious university, we knew deep within that we were destined for something greater. We dreamt of creating a legacy, a brand that would embody our love for design and the rich heritage of Indian textiles.

As the years passed, we found ourselves working in the textile industry, honing our skills and gaining invaluable experience. But our hearts yearned for more. It was the birth of our precious child in 2015 that brought our true calling into focus. As we searched for beautiful, comfortable, and unique ethnic wear for our little one, we realized the gap in the market - and an opportunity to make a difference.

With our hearts full of love for our child, and our minds ablaze with creativity, we embarked on a journey to create Nesavu – a brand that would bring joy to families by offering finely tailored, ready-to-wear children's ethnic wear, party wear, and indie casuals at an affordable price.

As we weaved our dreams into each stitch, we faced numerous challenges. But our love for each other, our passion for design, and our unwavering commitment to our vision fueled our determination. Slowly, Nesavu began to grow, and the whispers of our exceptional quality and commitment to sustainability spread far and wide.
