Our Story

We are Uma and Balajee—two design-loving dreamers who saw a glaring gap in the world of kids’ fashion. After years of working in the industry, our perspective changed entirely when our little one arrived in 2015. We realized that quality kidswear often meant costly custom orders, while the ready-to-wear options felt seriously lacking in both style and comfort.

So in 2019, we took the plunge and launched Nesavu, determined to make charming, ready-to-wear ethnic outfits, party wear, and indie casuals that don’t break the bank. Balajee brings his visual art, design, and finance expertise, while I (Uma) handle textiles, operations, and marketing. We kicked things off with just three people juggling everything from sketching to stitching, and each day since has been a lesson in growth.
